Harold Fernandes – Don Bosco School, Matunga, Mumbai. 2009 Soccer Star
: |

Since I was selected by the 2
Arsenal coaches to be a part of the
Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars team
for the 19th Arsenal International
Soccer Festival. It was a nice
opportunity given to me by them for
my excellence of football. I am
thankful to TATA TEA and High Life
Management. It was an excellent
experience i received from them.
Everything was very well-planned and
I have learnt lots of tactics from
the training camp in Kolkata as well
as on the trip to England. It is
because of TATA TEA JAAGO RE Soccer
Stars that I have received an award
of excellence for the proficiency of
football from my former school,
dated on 7th February and also my
picture was displayed on the screen
on the annual day in my school. This
all I have got because of the Tata
Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars programme
and High Life Management. I wish
they continue and make a better
success by each day. |

Sanjay Dang – father of Rickin Dang. Soccer Star of 2008
: |
A very positive approach in hunting
for future youth talents all over
the country, a great initiative
taken by them for awakening the
football scenario in India. I wish
that more and more corporate houses
could come forward to promote the
sport.
The experience shared with them
continuously for Two years as a
Father to one of the players ‘Rickin
Dang’ as well as a Coach to the
‘Mumbai zonal winners’ team, was
very professional, a well organized
team of staff members were a great
helping hand, right from the time of
zonal selection till the
arrangements made by them for the
final selections in Calcutta, and
not to forget the way they took care
of the children in U.K
A great experience overall, we wish
them all the best specially for
continuing the efforts for the
talent hunt. |

The Tata group is doing a lot of
good for soccer, and seeing Tata
Tea taking such a huge step in
promoting football amongst kids is
very heartening. High Life
Management has done a great job of
managing this tournament and
promoting these young kids. This is
the first time that 2 boys from
Shillong have got an exposure trip
abroad, and I am very happy for
them. |

This event gave us youngsters the
opportunity to express our talents
on national and international bases.
It was a platform from which young
footballers like us could prove our
skills. The whole event gave me a
life time experience.
It was a great experience overall,
we wish them all the best specially
for continuing the efforts for the
