Zonal finals at Lucknow, 25th & 26th March 2009.


	The 2 finalists - Lucknow Montessori Inter College & Mont Fort School with Chief Guest Mr.Anil Kumar Banavdha – Deputy Director of Sports, Govt of U.P., Jamshid Nassiri – Head Scout, Mr. Saurav Chatterjee – Director, High Life Management & Mr. O N Puri– Secretary, Lucknow District Football Association.		The winners of the Lucknow leg – Lucknow Montessori Inter College.


	The Runners Up – Mont Fort School.		Best Goalkeeper – Arshad Khan, Unity Inter College.


		The zonal finals of Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars were held in Lucknow on March 25th and 26th at Chowk Stadium.

		More than 30 teams participated in the tournament fighting to win the zonal finals

		Lucknow Montessari Inter College wins over Montford School by 3 - 0.

		Lucknow Montessari Inter College will now play in the national finals to be held in Kolkata mid this year.

The Chosen 3 - L-R, Amit Kumar Trivedi – R.L.B. School, Manoj Tamang & Vinod Kumar both from Lucknow Montessori Inter College.

Some of the players who came to lime light were

		Jatin Agarwal of Gurukul Academy was recognized as Lucknow’s most valuable player

		Arshad Khan of Unity Inter College was declared the best goalkeeper

		Vinod Kumar from Lucknow Montessari Inter College came out as the highest goal scorer during the zonal matches.

Highest Goal Scorer – Vinod Kumar, Lucknow Montessori Inter College.

Manoj Tamang & Vinod Kumar from Lucknow Montessari Inter College and Amit Kumar Trivedi from R.L.B.School were selected for coaching by Arsenal coaches at Kolkata from Lucknow.


		Jamshid Nassiri, Head Scout, observed the tournament for the most promising kid showing exceptional talent in the game.
