A quick rewind - presenting Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars Tournament 2008.
2008 saw the Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars initiative get an overwhelming response with the final 16 teams from 9 cities across India competing for the top honors. The grand final was held in Calcutta on May 9th and 10th. 30 talented boys were identified by the panel of professional Football players during the tournament and were given 2 weeks of Coaching by Arsenal coaches in Calcutta. Out of this 30, the final selected 15 got a life time opportunity to attend an Arsenal training camp in the UK and an entry to the Arsenal International Soccer Festival.
